Last Tuesday was the worst day I've had in 5 years of bike repair
Had a guy come in with a 2015 Trek Domane that had a seized seatpost, then a woman brought a kids bike with a stripped crank arm, and a third person wanted me to fix a spoke that snapped mid ride. Has anyone else had a day where everything just went wrong at once?

Oh man, "worst day in 5 years" hits hard. I had a day like that last month, I swear the universe was just messing with me. The seizing seatpost is the stuff of nightmares though, I had a carbon frame with a stuck post and I ended up spending hours with a torch and penetrating oil, still didn't get the whole thing out. And then a stripped crank arm always makes me wanna throw a wrench across the shop, especially when it's a kids bike and you know the parent is gonna blame you for it. I mean, it's like all the worst problems just gang up on you at once. That spoke snapping mid ride thing is so common too, but when it's the third thing in a row you just feel cursed. Idk what it is about bikes sometimes, they just decide to fight back.

Think about the shop lighting though... sometimes a seized post is less about corrosion and more about how much heat you can actually get into that junction before the frame starts to complain. @ninal91 I had one once where the seatpost had been in there so long the aluminum basically cold welded itself to the steel frame, ended up having to drill it out with a carbide bit in small steps. That stripped crank arm on a kids bike is extra rough too because you know they probably cross threaded it trying to help their kid and now they're too embarrassed to admit it.
