I finally tried that weird chain waxing method I saw online
I was sure it was just a fad, but after my chain stayed clean for over 300 miles on dusty trails, I'm a convert. What other 'too good to be true' tricks have actually worked for you guys?

That's wild, 300 miles is no joke! What brand of wax did you end up using?

Honestly, 300 miles just sounds like normal driving to me! @the_wyatt, are we making a big deal out of regular car upkeep now? It's just wax. I've used whatever cheap stuff is on sale and my car looks fine. People get so into the tiny details, but it all washes off in the rain anyway.

My buddy Mike tried that dry lube spray stuff you see advertised everywhere. Said it was supposed to make his truck chain last forever. After two weeks and maybe 150 miles of him driving to job sites, it was just gone. All of it. Dripping off in little black puddles on his driveway. He ended up scraping gunk off his rim with a putty knife. That's when he finally switched to the paraffin wax bath method and hasn't looked back since.
