I finally stopped over-tightening derailleur limit screws after a ride in Portland last week
Was messing with a buddy's shifting on a wet trail and realized I'd been cranking those screws like a gorilla for years - stripped the housing threads on my own bike too many times before someone at the shop set me straight. Has anyone else found that backing off a quarter turn actually fixes more chain drops than torquing them down?

Nah, cranking those screws saved my drivetrain from turning into spaghetti, @nina_sullivan61.

Backing off a quarter turn saved my old Trek from eating chain on a rainy descent.
