Couldn't decide between replacing the derailleur hanger or straightening it on a customer's Trek Marlin
Straightened it with the DAG tool, saved the guy $40, and it shifted fine. Three weeks later he's back because the hanger snapped on a curb. Now I keep a spare hanger in the shop for every common bike. What's your rule for straighten vs replace?
