Contrary to shop talk, I've made remote bike troubleshooting a regular part of my work.
Tbh, everyone says you need hands-on for everything, but I do just fine walking people through repairs on a call.

Happens all the time actually. Get some weird looks for sure. Just part of the deal I guess.

Tell people you like something they find odd and suddenly you're in a staring contest with a confused pigeon. Gets old real fast but what can you do. I just lean into it now, make the weird look part of the show. They get over it or they don't, not my problem.
