My hair had the best week of its life in San Diego and I still don't know why
Spent 5 days in San Diego last month and my hair was softer and shinier than it has been in ages, no frizz, no grease. Same shampoo, same routine, nothing switched up. Only thing that changed was the ocean air and maybe spending 20 minutes in the sun every morning. Has anyone figured out why hair loves that coastal weather so much, or am I just imagining things?
Oh man, the ocean air thing is real! I bet it's the salt in the air acting like a free texturizing spray, plus that morning sun drying it without heat damage. Same thing happens to my hair on beach trips and it never lasts once I get home.
