Just realized my esthetician's take on "natural aging" was really a sales pitch
I heard her tell the client in the next room that she "shouldn't trust drugstore retinol" and that the $180 in-office peel was the only real option. It got me thinking about how often the language of self-care gets twisted into fear about looking your age. Has anyone found an esthetician who actually talks straight about what a basic routine can and can't do?
