Vent: tried dragging a mesh bag behind me for tiny plastic bits and it actually worked
Got tired of crouching every 10 feet to pick up nurdles and broken bottle shards at Ocean Beach in SF, so I clipped a small mesh dive bag to my belt loop and let it drag behind me in the wet sand. First try it filled with like 40 tiny pieces in 20 minutes, stuff my gloves kept missing. The mesh lets sand fall out but traps anything bigger than a pea, and honestly my back hurts way less now. Only issue is it snags on seaweed clumps, so I've been lifting it over the big piles. Anyone else rig up something weird like this or am I the only one dragging a bag around like a weirdo?
