Is a grabber tool cheating? I started using one after a guy in Galveston said it saved his back
I tried a 32 inch grabber on a 2 hour cleanup last Saturday and my back felt fine, but some of the crew said it slows you down and you miss small bits. Do you think tools like that make us lazy or are they just smart, and where do you draw the line?
Honestly a grabber seems like a pretty normal tool and not some big deal, same as wearing gloves or using a cart instead of hauling bags by hand. Calling it lazy feels like a stretch when your back isn't wrecked after two hours. If the crew is really worried about missing small bits they can pick those up by hand and save the grabber for the stuff that hurts to reach.
