Update: I zip tied every cable under my desk and my chair wheel found the one loose end

Spent 2 hours on cable management last Saturday and felt like a genius until my chair snagged a zip tie tail and yanked my monitor off the desk edge. Now I'm using velcro straps instead, so what's the best way to keep that last bit of slack from turning into a trip wire?
