Is a standing desk actually worth it? My brother swears by his but I'm still sitting after 3 months
So my older brother works from home in Chicago and he's been pushing me to get a standing desk for my setup. He says his back pain went away after 2 weeks and he feels more awake during long gaming sessions. I tried his out last month at his place and it felt weird, like I was just hovering over my monitor. But he claims I'm just not giving it enough time. Now I'm stuck - my current desk works fine, I got it for $40 at a garage sale, but maybe I'm missing something. Has anyone here switched and then gone back to sitting? Or vice versa? What broke the tie for you?

My buddy Mike tried one for a month then sold it on Craigslist because he hated standing still.

Did you try switching between sitting and standing instead of just standing?
