DAE stop stacking monitors after a 24 inch screen tipped onto their desk in Tucson
I used to stack my two monitors on top of each other until one tipped forward last month and nearly took out my keyboard. Now both sit side by side on a single arm clamped to the back of the desk, and my neck stopped hurting after about a week. Anyone else run a side by side setup with a laptop off to the left, or is that too much screen real estate?
Tucson heat probably didn't help, plastic gets brittle out there. But a monitor tipping is a pretty rare thing unless your stand was already loose or the desk got bumped hard. I ran stacked screens for three years and never had one go over. Side by side with a laptop is fine, that's just three screens and plenty of people do it.
