TIL that claiming a game is 'basically free' because it was in a $5 bundle still counts as a purchase

I saw someone in a Steam forum argue that games from a 2019 Fanatical bundle were 'freebies' and I had to stop myself from typing a whole essay, but seriously, does anyone else get bugged by people mixing up 'free' with 'cheap' in bargain hunting circles?

Just unfollow and move on, it's not worth the headache.

Margaret, I read a piece the other day in an old issue of Readers Digest about how online arguments actually raise your blood pressure more than face to face ones. That stuck with me. Unfollowing is sound advice because these platforms are designed to keep you riled up, not to solve anything. The algorithms feed on engagement, and arguing back just feeds the machine. Sometimes the smartest move is to just step away entirely and not let it take up any more of your time.
