My cousin in Akron swore I could get 300 hours out of Grim Fandango by waiting for the $2.50 bundle, and he was dead wrong
Two winters back my cousin kept telling me to hold off on buying old PC games one at a time and just wait for the big bundle sales. So I sat on my hands for three months and watched every single thing I wanted get bundled with stuff I already had. When the sale finally hit, the whole pack came out to $2.50 but half of it was junk I will never install. Meanwhile the one game I actually cared about, a LucasArts point and click from 1998, ran me $1.75 by itself a week earlier. He still says I should have waited. I ended up with 40 games in my library and finished exactly one of them. Who else has a friend who swears by the bundle strategy and is it actually worth it or should I just grab the two dollar games when I see them?
