I blew $14 on shipping chasing a $3 game from a pawn shop in Toledo, now I just wait for the garage sale listings
For a long time I hunted cheap old games by buying singles off sketchy sellers and paying way too much to get them mailed to me, so that $3 copy of a PS2 game from a shop in Toledo really cost me like $17 once shipping hit. Then about 4 months ago I started just setting a bookmark to the local sale listings and driving out on weekend mornings, and I've grabbed 9 games for under $25 total with no shipping at all. Has anyone else figured out the best day or time to refresh those listings so you don't miss the good boxes?
