Hot take: that $4 pawn shop bin of loose discs in Toledo was actually gold
I grabbed a stack of 8 scratched up PS2 games from a bin at a pawn shop on Sylvania Ave for $4 each, mostly because they were cheap and I figured worst case they'd make good coasters. Got them home and 6 out of 8 fired up fine on my old fat PS2, including a copy of SSX Tricky that barely had a mark. The two that skipped got fixed with a $3 tube of polish from the auto parts store, which felt like a small win. Now I'm wondering if anyone else has scored from a random loose disc bin like this, or did I just get super lucky with the scratches?
