Hit up a flea market in Des Moines last Saturday and noticed something weird about the retro game prices

So I was walking through this flea market in Des Moines last weekend, passing by all the usual booths with old tools and vinyl records. One guy had a bunch of PS2 and Xbox games laid out on a table, and I was excited at first because I saw titles like Burnout 3 and Timesplitters 2. But then I looked closer and he was asking $40 for each of them, which is nuts for a flea market where you usually haggle down to ten bucks. Everyone online always says these places are goldmines for cheap games, but in my experience they're catching on to the trend and jacking up prices just like eBay. I ended up walking away without buying anything, which kinda stung because I really wanted that Burnout 3. Has anyone else noticed flea markets getting greedy with their pricing lately?

$40 for Burnout 3?" That's INSANE. I saw a guy selling loose N64 carts for $30 each last month.

Nah you're wrong, $40 for Burnout 3 is a steal if it's in good shape. That game is peak arcade racing, way better than half the garbage they put out now. People forget that N64 era stuff was mass produced like crazy, that's why you see loose carts for cheap. Burnout 3 had a way shorter print run and it's on a disc that can get scratched. I'd pay $40 all day over $30 for a random N64 sports title that's sitting in every thrift store.
