My whole tomato setup fell over in a storm yesterday

Had three big pots on a tall shelf, wind just knocked the whole thing sideways. Tomatoes were just starting to get flowers, now they're all snapped and the dirt is everywhere. I'm trying to salvage what I can but it's a huge mess. Anyone got tips for securing pots on a windy balcony?

My friend uses those big Velcro plant straps now.

Are they better than the twist ties?

Switched all my bread bags over to those big Velcro straps last month and honestly I wish I'd done it years ago. The twist ties always ended up getting bent weird or just falling off in the drawer, you know? With the Velcro ones I can just wrap them tight and they actually stay put overnight. My loafs stay fresh way longer now, the bread doesn't get that hard crust edge where the tie was pinching. Your mileage may vary depending on how much bread you go through, but for me it was a total game changer.
