My neighbor once yelled at me for using the wrong mulch.

I always bought the cheapest bag at the hardware store. Then my tomatoes got blossom end rot two years in a row. A guy at the garden center told me my mulch was locking in too much moisture and messing with the calcium. Switched to a lighter straw mulch and it fixed everything.
