My aunt told me my sourdough looked like a 'sad, deflated football' at a family cookout last summer, and honestly, she was right lol

Wait, you're just telling us this NOW? That happened LAST SUMMER? I need to know what you did with the bread after she said that, did you just leave it on the table? (Also, that's a very specific and kind of funny insult, I have to admit.)

My buddy actually did something similar once. His wife told him the rice he made was "aggressively bland" right in the middle of a dinner party. He just stood there holding the serving spoon for like a full minute, then set the whole pot on the front porch and closed the door. Apparently it sat out there for two days before a raccoon knocked it over. I'm still not sure if that was a protest or a punishment but he never made rice again, so maybe she won that round.
