I finally got my sourdough starter to work after three months of flat loaves
Last week, I realized my kitchen in Austin was way too cold for it to rise right. I moved the jar next to the oven when I preheated it, and the next morning it was bubbly and doubled. I baked a loaf that afternoon and it had a real ear and open crumb for the first time. Has anyone else had to change where they keep their starter to make it happy?
