Hot take: boxed brownie mix beat my from scratch batch at the office potluck
I spent two hours last Friday making brownies from scratch with melted chocolate and browned butter, while my coworker Dana brought the $2.50 box mix and just added eggs and oil. Hers got eaten in about ten minutes and mine sat there all afternoon, which honestly stung a little. Is it the fudgy texture people want, or do I just need a better recipe?

Dana's secret ingredient was probably just being the cheaper option.
