The time I tried to watch The Room with my dad who hates bad acting

I popped in The Room last Friday thinking he'd laugh at how terrible it is. He walked out 20 minutes in, said 'this isn't funny it's just painful,' and I sat there alone eating popcorn wondering if I'm the weird one.

Your dad might have a point honestly. The Room is one of those things where you either find the cringe hilarious or it just hurts to watch. You're not weird for enjoying it though, some of us just have a higher tolerance for that kind of trainwreck entertainment.

Gotta figure out what camp you're in. I've sat through The Room a few times with different groups and it's wild how half the room is dying laughing and the other half is just sitting there in complete silence wondering why anyone thinks this is funny. Your dad might just be in that second group.
