The Sharknado marathon last weekend broke my brain
We watched all six movies back to back, and I'm genuinely split on whether that's the peak of bad movie enjoyment or just self-inflicted punishment. The third one has a scene where a shark gets chainsawed in half inside the Washington Monument. Where do you stand on the 'so bad it's a masterpiece' scale for that franchise?

The whole franchise is basically a dare that somehow works. Chainsawing a shark inside the Washington Monument is the kind of insane logic you can only get from people who truly don't care about physics or reality. That commitment to pure chaos is what makes it a masterpiece in my book. It's not trying to be clever or ironic, it's just fully stupid and proud of it. There's a weird purity to that kind of filmmaking that you don't see anymore. Isn't that part of the fun, just letting go and enjoying the ride?

Honestly, the genius is in the commitment. They never wink at the camera, which lets you fully embrace the dumb fun. That's what pushes it from bad to a real, stupid masterpiece.
