Spent $14 on a streaming rental of The Room, fell asleep 20 minutes in and woke up at the credits

Wasted a whole Friday night and my money on that so-bad-it's-good classic but I was too tired from work to even appreciate the terrible acting, anyone else ever pay for a bad movie and then miss the whole thing?

Wait, $14 is what a full tank of gas costs for @lewis.drew? I thought my little compact car was cheap to fill up but your truck must be sipping gas or something because that's basically pocket change where I live. It stings even worse when you order a "classic" like The Room and instead of laughing at the terrible acting you just pass out and wake up to the credits rolling, which is somehow even more disappointing than if you'd watched it sober. I've done the same thing with old horror movies I bought on sale - paid $5 for some cheesy 80s slasher, fell asleep during the first kill, and woke up at 3am with the TV still on and no idea what happened.

$14 is basically a full tank of gas in my truck, so that stings. I've noticed this happens a lot more now with streaming, you have to actually commit to watching something instead of just flipping channels. It's like when you buy a bag of chips, eat three of them, then forget the bag exists for a week. The whole "buying something then not getting the full experience" thing is just how life works these days.
