Shoutout to the pawn shop DVD guy in Reno who warned me about the worst movie I've ever shown
Last Friday I grabbed a 3 dollar copy of Troll 2 for movie night at my buddy's place in Reno, and the guy behind the counter told me flat out that it would kill the room. I laughed it off, popped it in around 9pm, and within 20 minutes four people were on their phones because nobody could tell if the movie was in on the joke or not. I paused it, swapped to the Rifftrax version on my laptop, and the mood flipped in about 2 minutes once everyone had permission to laugh. Now I'm second guessing every so-bad-it's-good pick I own. What's your go-to backup movie when the ironic watch flops?
