Rolled my eyes when my buddy insisted we watch The Room, 20 minutes in I was hooked
He kept saying it was the best worst movie ever made and I thought he was just being dramatic. Then we watched Tommy Wiseau throw a football in slow motion and I was laughing so hard I choked on my popcorn. The green screen backgrounds that dont match anything are what sold me. Has anyone else had a movie that sounded dumb but actually delivered the laughs?

...the football throwing scene, that was the exact moment for me too. I actually texted my sister in the middle of it because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The way he just flips it back and forth with that blank expression on his face, it's like an alien trying to understand what sports are. And then all the green screen stuff is so bad it wraps back around to being genius. I've made like three different people watch it since and they all had the same reaction you did, laughing so hard we couldn't breathe.
