Remember when we had to wait a whole week to rent a truly awful movie?
Back in 2008, my local Blockbuster only had one copy of 'Birdemic: Shock and Terror'. My friends and I had to reserve it a week in advance. The night we finally got it, we spent two hours watching the worst CGI birds ever, laughing until we cried. That whole ritual of the wait made the terrible movie night feel like a real event. What's the worst movie you've ever had to work that hard to see?

Actually, Birdemic came out in 2010, not 2008. I only remember because we had that same awful movie night right after it hit the shelves at our local rental place. The wait for a bad movie was the best part though. For me it was 'The Room.' I had to get a friend to drive me to a video store like 30 minutes away because they were the only ones who had a copy. That trip made it feel like a quest for the holy grail of bad film.

That holy grail feeling is so real. My own bad movie quest was for "Troll 2," which meant convincing my mom to drive me to three different Blockbusters before we found it. She still brings up how I made her waste a whole Saturday afternoon just to watch a movie about goblins eating people. At least the trip made the terrible acting feel like a real prize.
