I swore I'd never watch The Room but it took me 3 hours to finish it.

My buddy kept bugging me to watch The Room for months. I said no because I hate bad movies that are just boring. Finally gave in last Saturday and I couldn't believe how terrible and hilarious it was. It took me 3 hours because I kept pausing to laugh at the random football scenes and weird dialogue. Has anyone else fought watching a so-bad-it's-good movie and then ended up loving it?

Join the club man, that movie is a total trainwreck but you can't look away. It's like when you're at a gas station and someone's arguing with the pump because they can't figure out how to pay, you just stand there watching the disaster unfold. The Room has that same energy where everything is just off in a way that's more entertaining than a good movie sometimes. The weird sex scenes and the spoon pictures, it's like someone made a movie who never actually talked to another human being before. That's the kind of stuff that sticks with you more than a perfectly fine movie you forget the next day.

Changed my mind completely after finally giving in last week.

My buddy spent four hours on The Room because he kept rewinding the "you're tearing me apart" scene.
