Hot take: The Room is a slog and I'd pick Troll 2 for bad movie night nine times out of ten
My friend Dana hosts bad movie night every other Friday in her garage in Fresno, and two weeks ago she put up The Room against Troll 2 and let the group vote. I went with Troll 2 and got outvoted 7 to 3, mostly because people wanted the famous quotes and the spoons. We spent 99 minutes on The Room and honestly the middle hour just drags, with the awkward scenes coming so slow that nobody even laughed after a while. Troll 2 is dumb from minute one to the end, and it never gives you time to check your phone. Does anyone else think the so-called classics get a pass just because everyone knows the lines already?

Judge bad movies by how fast the clock moves, not by how many lines you can quote along with.
