Bought a $20 Bluetooth speaker for bad movie night and it saved my living room

I spent twenty bucks on a cheap portable speaker last week just to watch The Room with friends, and the audio was actually decent enough to catch every single bizarre line. Has anyone else found a budget gadget that made a terrible movie way more fun to sit through?

Purchased a $20 Bluetooth speaker off Amazon, now my living room feels like a dollar theater with better snacks. lol The bass is literally held together by tape but it makes Transformers 4 sound like a masterpiece.

Oh man, I gotta disagree with @finley_flores28 on this one... I honestly think a cheap speaker kinda takes away from the magic of bad movies. Like, part of the fun for me is hearing every awful line through the tinny little built-in speaker on my laptop, you know? It adds to the whole chaotic vibe of watching something like The Room with friends. Those bass rattles and crackles feel more authentic to the experience, not less. I tried a budget speaker once for a Sharknado marathon and it just made everything sound too clean, which kinda ruined the fun of it being so bad. Maybe I'm weird but I prefer the raw, janky audio when the movie itself is a mess...
