Appreciation post: Dollar store horror flicks at the drive-in last summer

Went to the Starlight Drive-In in July and they played a triple feature of bargain bin horror movies. After sitting through "Zombie Nightmare" with zero budget special effects, I stopped caring about production quality and just started enjoying the ride. Has anyone else found a specific theater or event that made them appreciate bad movies more?

Totally feel you on this. Saw a movie called "Blood Beach" at a rundown indie theater last fall and the cheesiness was half the fun. Something about bad movies in a crowd just makes them way more enjoyable.

Pretty sure @robinson.holly that was "Blood Beach" from 1981. Good cheese though.

Yeah "good cheese" sums it up perfectly. That movie is pure junk food and I love it.
