Heard my neighbor tell his kid the Moon is following their car
Last week while setting up my telescope, I caught my neighbor explaining to his 6-year-old that the Moon follows cars because it's stuck to the windshield with sticky light. Kinda made me realize how we all fill in gaps with nonsense before we learn the real thing, you know? Anyone else catch weird astronomy myths floating around your block?

Is it just me or do parents make up some of the wildest stuff? That sticky light thing is genuinely hilarious though, poor kid's gonna be confused for years.
