That one heat wave week that wrecked my whole flock

Last July we hit 98 degrees for 5 days straight in Austin and I thought my misters and shade tarps were enough. Lost two of my best layers to heat stress despite having cool water and frozen treats out. Anyone else run a swamp cooler setup on their coop for Texas summers or is that overkill?
