Remember when chicken feed bags were just paper? Miss those days sometimes.
I was cleaning out my shed last weekend and found an old paper feed bag from 2015. Now everything comes in those thick plastic woven bags that I can never seem to repurpose. Back then I used the paper bags to line my nesting boxes and start my compost pile. Anyone else miss the old packaging or have you found a good use for these new plastic ones?

Found some old paper bags in my barn from 2010, used them to start my tomato seeds this spring. Those thick plastic ones make decent weed barriers under the gravel path though if you slit them open.

Found some old paper bags" - plastic ones work better as weed barriers if you poke holes for drainage first though.

Oh man, I gotta push back on that a little. I mean, plastic bags under gravel sounds like a moisture trap waiting to happen. Maybe it's just me but I've had way better luck with landscape fabric or even just cardboard for weed barriers. Those plastic bags don't let any water through even with holes poked in them, so you end up with this gross swampy layer underneath that just ruins the gravel over time. I'd rather just pull a few weeds than deal with that mess later on.
