PSA: My neighbor's coop in Tacoma got hit by a raccoon last night
It ripped right through the chicken wire on the run, so I'm switching to hardware cloth for everything now. Anyone have a good source for a 50-foot roll that won't break the bank?

My buddy in Puyallup had the same thing happen. A raccoon tore through his chicken wire like it was paper. He got a 50-foot roll of hardware cloth from the farm supply on River Road. Said it was way cheaper than the big box stores.

Yeah my cousin's coop got hit last fall, same deal.

Man, @julia_burns9, that's rough. My friend's neighbor lost three hens before they figured out it was a weasel. Thing got in through a gap the size of a quarter.
