My flock got into the compost pile and I panicked

Last Tuesday, I came home to find all six of my hens had knocked over the bin and were feasting on a week's worth of kitchen scraps. I was worried about moldy bread and avocado, but after a frantic call to the vet, they said as long as there's no chocolate or raw potato peels, they'd probably be fine. Has anyone else had a compost disaster, and what weird stuff did your chickens actually handle okay?

Mine once ate a whole moldy pumpkin and were totally fine.
