Just realized my chickens quit laying because I blocked their dust bath spot
I moved a stack of pavers next to the coop 3 months ago and egg count went from 5 a day to 1, and it turns out they had been dust bathing in that exact dry patch to stay free of mites. Put the pavers somewhere else last Tuesday and we are back to 4 or 5 eggs, so has anyone else lost a spot like this without knowing?
