I stopped using diatomaceous earth in the coop after wasting $40 on it
Ngl I was dusting that stuff everywhere for 4 months and my hens still got lice, plus my lungs hated me for it. A guy at the feed store in Modesto told me to just use permethrin spray on the roosts and treat them once with dust, and that did more in 2 weeks than the DE did all summer, has anyone else ditched the DE?
