Forty-two eggs from six hens this week and Im still surprised
Back when I first started keeping hens in 2019 I was lucky to get a dozen a week from the same number of birds, but after switching to a fermented feed and adding a second roost last March, I hit 42 eggs in seven days and had to start giving them to my neighbors, has anyone else seen that kind of jump from just a couple of small changes?

Funny how tweaking one little thing changes everything else around the house too.

Honestly, I see it the other way. Most of the time, a small change just stays small. You paint one wall and the rest of the room looks totally fine. It doesn't suddenly make your couch look terrible or force you to redo the floor. People blow that idea way out of proportion. Sure, it happens sometimes, but it's not some universal law of home improvement. Most tweaks just sit there quietly and don't demand anything else from you.
