Dropped $70 on a heat lamp setup my aunt swore by, and my chicks were fine without it
She ran hers every spring for 20 years, but by day 8 mine were sleeping clear across the brooder from the lamp anyway. Anyone got a real reason to keep a second bulb around, or should I just sell it?
