Why does nobody talk about how fragile those ultralight backpacking stoves really are?

My BRS-3000T cracked right at the valve stem on day 3 of a 10-day trip in the Sierras last month, and I had to cold-soak everything for a week. Has anyone else had one fail on them in the middle of nowhere?

Nah I used to be all about how ultralight gear was the way. Then my BRS bent on the first trip. Tiny little dent and it wouldn't thread right anymore. Totally changed my mind on those things.

Bummer. @tara_palmer sounds like a known issue with those.
