The trail marker I trusted sent me 2 miles up a dead logging road in Vermont
Last month on the Long Trail near Killington that blue blaze was painted on an old fence post pointing straight into a grown-over skidder track, and after 40 minutes of pushing through waist-high ferns I had to backtrack and find the real path, has anyone else had a marker that just lied to you like that?
