That storm on the JMT in 2019 changed my whole packing system
Got caught above treeline near Muir Pass with hail coming sideways. Had my gear spread out in my pack like a junk drawer. Took me 15 minutes to find my rain shell. That was the day I went to color coded dry bags with a list taped inside the lid. Now everything has a home before I even leave the trailhead. Anybody else have one bad weather day that rewired their whole setup?
