Just realized the new guy was right about reading the AMM first
Last Thursday I was chasing a flaky fuel quantity indication on a King Air and had my head buried behind the panel for two hours. The new kid, six months out of school, asked if I had run the AMM fault isolation tree before pulling the panel. Told him I knew this plane, and he just shrugged and handed me the manual. Page 28-22-00 had a note about moisture in the connector that matched my symptom exactly, and I had it fixed in 20 minutes. Anyone else had a junior tech call them out like that?
