Just realized my pinout cheat sheet was the actual problem
Spent 6 hours last Tuesday chasing a CAN bus fault on a Hawker 800XP. Turned out my handwritten pinout sheet had the shield ground and the A pin swapped. I copied that sheet off a forum back in 2019 and never double checked it. The plane's manual had the right diagram on page 4 all along. Now I verify every single pin against the OEM doc before I touch a connector. Anyone else trust their own notes too much and pay for it later?
