Just logged my 500th wire termination on this 787 project and the number of reworks was zero.

Honestly, after three months of fighting intermittent faults on the last airframe, hitting that clean milestone with the new crimp tool from the Seattle hangar felt like a real win, so has anyone else found a specific tool that just made everything click?

That new crimp tool from Seattle is a game changer, we got the same one last year. The big difference is the ratchet mechanism, it just doesn't let you mess up the crimp cycle. Saved us so much time on harness builds.

Used to think all crimp tools were pretty much the same until we tried that one. @james533 is right about the ratchet, it just forces a perfect crimp every single time. Totally changed how we handle our production line wiring.
