Read somewhere that loose ground wires cause more Garmin issues than actual unit failures. One avionics shop said half their diagnostic calls end up being something simple like that. After messing with the G1000 myself, I get why you'd pull your hair out for three hours. Funny how the hardest fixes are usually the stupidest ones, right?
