Best day or worst day: a single connector swap in a Cessna 172 took me 45 minutes or 3 hours depending on who you ask
Ngl I had a shift where a bad Cannon plug in a Garmin 430 took 20 minutes to fix, but the paperwork and signoff dragged it to a whole morning. Anyone else feel like the actual avionics work is the quick part and the admin is what kills your week?

I had a buddy once who spent three days tracking down a 50 ohm resistor that was actually fine, but someone had penciled the wrong value in the logbook from 1997. The real fix took maybe 15 minutes with a meter and a soldering iron. And @laurabennett is spot on about lost logbooks - I've seen guys spend more time chasing down signatures than actually troubleshooting. The paperwork doesn't just kill your week, it makes you question whether you're an avionics tech or a filing clerk some days. Your mileage may vary but that Cannon plug story sounds about right for the admin side of things.
