A tiny brush saved me hours on a nagging autopilot fault

The autopilot on this King Air kept failing checks, and I was ready to pull my hair out. I found a mini brush set made for connector pins, and after cleaning every contact, the system passed with flying colors. Do you have any favorite tools for delicate avionics cleaning jobs?

Calling a tiny brush a lifesaver seems a bit much. Autopilot checks fail all the time for silly reasons. Those connector pin brushes are handy, but they're not solving major avionics issues. It's probably just routine maintenance, not some epic fix. Still, if it got the job done, good for you.

Guess I'm guilty of overhyping small fixes too lol. I've definitely called a simple tool a lifesaver after it saved me from a long, frustrating day. You're right that it's often just routine stuff, but when you're stuck, anything that helps feels huge. I probably need to chill out a bit with the excitement. Still, can't help but celebrate the small wins, even if they're not epic. It's a bad habit of mine, but at least it keeps things interesting.
